We bought the trim package for our insert, and it's perfect. Finishes it very nicely and looks more expensive than it is. I highly recommend getting this trim package along with your fireplace insert.

The electric insert is a perfect fit in my existing fireplace and the expandable trim made the whole set-up look very realistic. I use it to add extra warmth to my living room and am able to keep my thermostat turned down to a lower temperature. I'm very pleased with my purchase overall.
