I purchased this fireplace as a supplemental source of heat for our large family room in the basement. We have a gas furnace, but to save money, we keep the thermostat low. The electric fireplace does a very nice job of helping to heat the room. I like the contemporary look, attractive design. It is easy to use and nice to look at. I think the flame is quite realistic in appearance.

I am happy with the product, especially the easy set up- just plug it in ! The flame gives off a 3D effect. There are no fire logs but flame and burning embers. Pretty impressive for an electric gadget . The mantel is high quality and looks impressive. This fireplace is smaller , which is a better scale for a smaller room. Friends recommended DIMPLEX- they have two units.

We use this Great Looking Fireplace for the ambiance and feel of a real fire and it does just that! It is really more than I expected from seeing the picture on the web site. The High Gloss Black Mantel is an absolute 10. Also the Marble look around the firebox was an added plus that I had not noticed in the pictures. Great job in this sleek look and design!

This unit can operate flame only or heat and flame to create instant ambiance and keep you toasty warm. The gloss black finish is beautiful!
