I am remodeling my family room & wanted a fireplace to create a cozy feel. I found this elec stove & it is perfect! It is large enough not to get lost in the room & the flame & logs look vey realistic! The shiney black finish is beautiful. The heater works well & is quiet. I am not using it as the main heat for the whole room, since I have a heat pump, but it takes the chill out of the room. I am very happy with it!

Since we already have an enclosed wood burning stove in our dining room where the chimney is, I was looking for something to place in the fake fireplace in our living room. My wife wanted a real one put in there but since it was built for looks only it would have been a daunting and expensive task.
Enter the Dimplex stove! I searched online for days for the best looking stove with the most realistic flame. I kept coming back to Dimplex and the prices seemed to be the same on most sites I went to. The reason I purchased this particular stove was because the size was about the same as the Celeste but $100 cheaper. I'm glad I found this site since this stove is exclusive to them.
It is a beautiful stove that is well built. It fits perfectly in the opening of my fireplace and adds an unbelievable ambiance to the room.It has instantly become the center piece to our living room. The flames are as realistic as I have ever seen in an electric stove. I'm sure the Opti-Myst will be even more realistic when it hits the US but I wasn't willing to wait or spend 1 to 2k on one.
I gave this stove to my wife as an early Christmas present because I wanted to be able to view it while we opened our other gifts on Christmas Eve. I or my wife couldn't be any happier with the purchase of this stove and I highly recommend it to anyone.
Service and delivery comments:
It took only five days to recieve this stove and it arrived in perfect shape. It was packaged well in heavy cardboard box strapped onto a skid with plenty of foam filler all around the stove. It was so tightly packed that it was difficult to get out of the box.
