The flame motor makes a clicking noise every 3 seconds, which can be annoying. It is a great alternative to heating a small room, since it has a thermostat. I was surprised at how realistic the flames look. If building into the wall do not add any horizontal studs. They will just get in the way. I used four lag bolts with washers instead of the screws they provided. Make sure your fill material inside the glass is level before you install the glass.

unit wasn't to hard to set up, directions as always could use a little tweeking. flame a little dim and motors to turn flame and fan noisy which for the price of the unit should have extra quite motors
