My wife and I purchased our fireplace quite some time ago and are thrilled to have it as our show piece in our living room. We did have two small issues which were rectified to our complete satisfaction by the manufacturer. They were very quick to send a technician to our home to replace the heater fan which made a slightly aggravating buzz also they gave us a $100.00 credit back for a small defect in the pedestal which we can live with. We look forward to many years of enjoying our show piece. Thanks ever so much Dimplex for creating such a fine piece of art! Also I wish to thank the delivery driver for his professionalism and courtesy with his assistance with helping me move the unit into my front door. Cudos to Kingsway Transport!

The best thing next to the real thing.FIre effect is the best in the market, Once you go opti-myst , you wont go back to traditional background effect screen fireplace.If you are thinking of getting a fireplace that you will want to have for a very long time without regrets,this is the one. The only main concern is that the water vapour outlet required occasional cleaning from moulds and lime formation that will clogs it up, only filtered water should be use to refill the tank!.The light from bulbs escapes through the logs and shine too much on the ceiling thus doesnt hide the fact that the fireplace is running on light bulbs.All in all, this great invention operates quietly and the fire is just beautiful. The quality of the mantel is very high with marble like design and very heavy!!!. Im very very please with Opti-myst!
