The fireplace arrived at my door 5 days after ordering. There was some damage to the carton but the unit was so well packed that the pieces came out pristine. I set it up in less than 1/2 hour including reading directions through. It looks great, the flames and embers are good looking. The weather just turned cold enough last night to appreciate the heater and it warmed our master bedroom beautifully. My wife and I have turned the fireplace into a warm little nest in the master bedroom. I highly recomend this unit.

The Chinese really know how to manufacture stuff for Americans. No particle board here, high end heavy duty wood, manufactured to very high tolerances. This has smooth slow curves through the entire product which is very hard to make unless you have computer controlled wood-working equipment. I still wish these little fireplaces had more than 1500 watts of power, but they're all the same. It's an OK secondary source of heat, but don't rely on it as primary.

Be sure when it is finally delivered that you not sign the receipt iuntil you note the damage on the box and take photos. One man runs past you delivering the box and the other man stands in the way to force you to sign for it. So do not sign till you examine the box and nmote all things that concern you.
