The set up was so well thought out, it was easy to assemble. Just some easy to turn wing nuts, no tools. Unit itself a little smaller than I was expecting -- should have paid more attention to exact measurements vs a "normal" fireplace. Arrived on time in perfect shape. Using it to add some ambience to an office -- works great.

My bedroom is over our garage and on a different level than our two heat zones. So an electric fireplace was a great option to affordably heat the room. The only improvement that I can think of is if there was a temp readout on the unit.

Right front vertical mantel piece has 3 staples visible. The 2nd vertical mantel piece (Piece #2) had the holes on the left side misdrilled by 1/4 inch. I had to redrill the holes to assemble the mantel. To me that shows the manufacturing process is a little sloppy. We filed a claim with the company and the situation is being rectified.

Product is great. It was very easy to put together and install. From opening the box to operating the unit was less than 1 hour. We're using it in a room about 18x30, but it is near where we sit when we watch TV. We now use a blanket and this fireplace as our primary heat when we're watching TV rather than fire up our Gas powered central heat.

I am using the fireplace in my second-floor loft primarily as a decorative piece and TV stand. It was very easy to assemble and I was able to do it by myself. The finish is beautiful and matches my wall units quite well. The heater is not sufficient to heat the room, but I expected that when I purchased it. However it does provide a very cozy atmosphere and I have used it daily all winter.
Service and delivery comments:
It was stated on your website that the delivery person was not take it from the truck until I had inspected it. The driver refused to allow me to inspect it citing his regulations. He was very helpful once I agreed to sign for it and even helped get it into my loft. It was well-packed and there was no damage. But you may want to reconsider the statement or delivery company.
"As with every comment sent to you regarding your firplaces I cannot be more pleased. Your service, quality, workmanship and prices cannot be surpassed. The quality of the Dimplex flame is so close to real you can hardly tell the difference. For those that are on an ecology kick this is what they should have. Thanks again for making this a truly satisfying experience."
