Twin-Star International, Inc., hereinafter referred to collectively as the (Company), warrants that your new ClassicFlame Electric Fireplace is free from manufacturing and material defects for a period of one year from date of purchase, subject to the following conditions and limitations.
This electric fireplace must be installed and operated at all times in accordance with the installation and operating instructions furnished with the product. Any unauthorized repair, alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product shall nullify this warranty.
This warranty is non-transferable, and is made to the original owner, provided that the purchase was made through an authorized supplier of the company.
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of part(s) found to be defective in material or workmanship, provided that such part(s) have been subjected to normal conditions of use and service, after said defect is confirmed by the Company's inspection.
This warranty does not cover the light bulb(s) included with the ClassicFlame Electric Fireplace.
The Company may, at its discretion, fully discharge all obligations with respects to this warranty by refunding the wholesale price of the defective part(s).
Any installation, labor, construction, transportation, or other related costs/expenses arising from defective part(s), repair, replacement, or otherwise of same, will not be covered by this warranty, nor shall the Company assume responsibility for same.
The owner/user assumes all other risks, if any, including the risk of any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of the use, or inability to use the product, except as provided by law.
All other warranties - expressed of implied - with respect to the product, its components and accessories, or any obligations/liabilities on the part of the Company are hereby expressly excluded.
The Company neither assumes, nor authorizes any third party to assume, on its behalf, any other liabilities with respect to the sale of the ClassicFlame product.
The warranties as outlined within this document do not apply to non ClassicFlame accessories used in conjunction with the installation of this product.
This warranty is void if:
a. The fireplace is subjected to prolonged periods of dampness or condensation.
b. Any unauthorized repair alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product.
c. You do not have the original receipt of purchase.

Nice quality. The big box stores versions of this have a very small flame viewing area and are much cheaper and unrealistic looking, we returned one and noticed the others out there were the same. This brand seems to be the nicest. We purchased our second one this year. Both were gifts for our adult children and both love them. The first one is now 2 1/2 years old and still working perfectly. Only negative, the fan on the heater is a bit louder than I would like. Nice touches with the upgrades on the newer version. (Touch screen if you want to use it, that appears if you touch, then fades away when finished.)

This serendipity fireplace was shipped quick and only took about an hour to take out of the box and set up. Ounce it was on the wall (so it blows on the wife) we tried it out. The touch screen works great and the heat kicks out. The little women is so happy that she can start it up in the morning and have the room heated in about 10 minutes. For the money it is a great buy. the only thing that is bad is it does make noise when the blower is working. the flame is o.k. but not like a real fire. As far as the noise its like a fan running on extra low in the summer. I would recommend this product, to get a quieter model you will pay triple the price.

I hesitated to buy this fireplace because the specs indicated that it was close to 9" deep. In actuality, if you wall mount it, the depth is 4". I love the features on this and it definitely provides additional warmth. The flames on this one are not as realistic as another classicflame fireplace I bought last year.

We have a solar home which uses radiant heat from circulated hot water ducting in the cement floor. This works great when it's sunny (most of the time), but in the winter months it's nice to have the option of heating only the bedroom. This is where the ClassicFlame is useful.
The noise is not too bad, but would have preferred a slightly quieter fan, or more than one fan speed choice.
Unit draws cool air in the top and pushes it out the front in a downward angle - this is optimal for us. It draws a measured 1315 watts, and the lights (which may be turned off) are LED and add almost nothing to the power drain.
The power cord is hefty and difficult to shape. This is a bit of an aesthetics problem when the unit is wall-mounted. Would have been better to provide clips along the bottom for example, to route the power cord neatly in case the outlet is on the left like ours.
But in balance, a nice unit.

I got many positive comments about the fireplace from my office co-workers already. For the price, i think it is a good value. Simulated fire: i would give a 7 out of 10. Other brands that cost twice as much have a different look and feel of the fire, but really not good enough to justify their $600-900 price. I like all the differnet functions too: sleep timer, thermostat, fire effect levels, and led mood lighting. And all this with intergrated touch screen controls or via the included remote. (one note about the remote though, the thermostat button only is an on/off button, you cannot adjust the thermostat temp like you can on the touch-screen control located on the fireplace itself). Another negative is if you mount the unit too low and stand up close to it, you can atually look down and see the reflective wheel inside that produces the simuilated fire. I reccomend mounting it up at least 2 feet up from the floor. Also, don't have too much light in the room or place it where there is lots of sunlight. The glass screen has lots of glare and that is 50% of what you see durring the day or if all the lights are on.
But over all it is a very nice product at this price point.
