I do not exaggerate when I say we used to sit in our living room watching television under blankets, sometimes with hat and gloves. It was the coldest room in the apartment. Our fireplace was promptly delivered and we had it assembled and working in about hour and a half. I think I'm in love. It looks and works great - we even like looking at it without the heat! Very sturdy, contemporary style, still can't figure out how the flames look so realistic. We live in a city where it can be used year round so will get good use from this product. Highly (and warmly) recommended.

when i first got the package the box had some cuts and some gaps. when i opened the box and got all the pieces on the floor it looked like a easy job but it wasnt too easy i had to redo it 3 times until i finally did it. one little thing will miss you up. but the stand looks great

Have bought fireplaces from direct before. This one is my least favorite. It is not that tall, so we are going to build a platform base underneath to bring it up approximately 10 inches. Also, the remote is to just turn it on or off. My other FP's have heat control, flame height, etc.
