Twin-Star International, Inc., hereinafter referred to collectively as the (Company ), warrants that your new Duraflame Electric Fireplace is free from manufacturing and material defects for a period of one year from date of purchase, subject to the following conditions and limitations.
This electric fireplace must be installed and operated at all times in accordance with the installation and operating instructions furnished with the product. Any unauthorized repair, alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product shall nullify this warranty.
This warranty is non-transferable, and is made to the original owner, provided that the purchase was made through an authorized supplier of the company.
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of part(s) found to be defective in material or workmanship, provided that such part(s) have been subjected to normal conditions of use and service, after said defect is confirmed by the Company's inspection.
This warranty does not cover the light bulb(s) included with the Duraflame Electric Fireplace.
The Company may, at its discretion, fully discharge all obligations with respects to this warranty by refunding the wholesale price of the defective part(s).
Any installation, labor, construction, transportation, or other related costs/expenses arising from defective part(s), repair, replacement, or otherwise of same, will not be covered by this warranty, nor shall the Company assume responsibility for same.
The owner/user assumes all other risks, if any, including the risk of any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of the use, or inability to use the product, except as provided by law.
All other warranties - expressed of implied - with respect to the product, its components and accessories, or any obligations/liabilities on the part of the Company are hereby expressly excluded.
The Company neither assumes, nor authorizes any third party to assume, on its behalf, any other liabilities with respect to the sale of the Duraflame product.
The warranties as outlined within this document do not apply to non Duraflame accessories used in conjunction with the installation of this product.
This warranty is void if:
a. The fireplace is subjected to prolonged periods of dampness or condensation.
b. Any unauthorized repair alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product.
c. You do not have the original receipt of purchase.

This free standing electric stove was more than I thought it would be. It serves the purpose to have a heater that is not only easily portable to go anywhere, but a realistic fireplace to look at while I read or watch television. There is no loud sound and heats quickly. Even my kitty likes to lay nearby. This is definitely a product I am grateful to own.

Just bought my second on as a gift for my mother who loves the one I got two years ago, went the entire season last year without using central heat , using my duraflame and gas logs. The duraflame is great for heatng a living area, did not even notice the use on my electric bill, I am planning on purchasing the mantle/entertainment center after christmas for myself. Love this product.

I bought one of these a couple weeks ago and I must say it is fantastic. Looking over at it makes me get a warm feeling inside even when the heater is off. I shopped for one for along time reading reviews of multiple units. This fireplace puts off the most amazing heat and does such a great job heating up any area I have used it. Duraflame really nailed it on this one. I have been so impressed with this model I bought the 550 as well for a Christmas gift.
I have thought a lot about this and cannot think of anything bad to say about this unit.

Not only does it heat my small one bedroom apartment, it has been great for my asthma. I don't have to turn on my gas heat as much, which makes me wheeze since it is hard to get the right balance with the gas heat source. My daughter came home from college and sat down in front of the fireplace and watched it for over 15 minutes!

This is a perfect little heater for certain zones in the house. It seems to be of good construction and spreads warmth even without the heat switched on! I bought it for my husband's computer office in an upstairs open sitting room, which does not have its own heating system, and he is delighted with its performance. It fits perfectly into a corner, which is mostly taken up by a large bookcase, since its dimensions are small. A great buy!

I have asthma so I was looking for alternative heating in my one story apartment. When I turn on the gas heating unit, it get so hot that sometimes it makes me wheeze and when I turn it off, my apartment cools down fast. This leaves me turning the heat on and off all day long. Now since I got my fireplace stove, I rarely turn my heat on! I am surprised how fast it heats up my apartment with the warm air, now I don't have to worry about the gas heat that can cause me to wheeze! My daughter came home from college and sat on the floor and watched the flames for over 15 minutes, she loves it too!
