This electric fireplace must be installed and operated at all times in accordance with the installation and operating instructions furnished with the product. Any unauthorized repair, alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product shall nullify this warranty.
This warranty is non-transferable, and is made to the original owner, provided that the purchase was made through an authorized supplier of the company.
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of part(s) found to be defective in material or workmanship, provided that such part(s) have been subjected to normal conditions of use and service, after said defect is confirmed by the Company's inspection.
This warranty does not cover the light bulb(s) included with the ClassicFlame Electric Fireplace.
The Company may, at its discretion, fully discharge all obligations with respects to this warranty by refunding the wholesale price of the defective part(s).
Any installation, labor, construction, transportation, or other related costs/expenses arising from defective part(s), repair, replacement, or otherwise of same, will not be covered by this warranty, nor shall the Company assume responsibility for same.
The owner/user assumes all other risks, if any, including the risk of any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of the use, or inability to use the product, except as provided by law.
All other warranties - expressed of implied - with respect to the product, its components and accessories, or any obligations/liabilities on the part of the Company are hereby expressly excluded.
The Company neither assumes, nor authorizes any third party to assume, on its behalf, any other liabilities with respect to the sale of the ClassicFlame product.

a. The fireplace is subjected to prolonged periods of dampness or condensation.

Customer service was great in replacing a damaged firebox. Assembly was straightforward with no surprises. But there was a loud hum when the "fire" was turned on. After some troubleshooting, I found the firebox was vibrating on the fireplace frame. I wedged some thin wrapping foam between the firebox and the upper frame, which helped a lot. I also put some under the firebox as it was sitting direcly on the wood floor. Again, much better. There should really be some adhesive foam strips included in the assembly to keep the firebox from directly touching the fireplace frame. I'm sure other people would think this vibration hum was normal and just live with.

The cabinet is beautiful and solid. One small distraction is that the corner top piece is not flush to the main cabinet top.
I think the heating feature would be much improved for distribution if there were a couple of higher fan speeds.

I bought this fireplace for a drafty basement bedroom. The mantel is beautifully finished, and the "slate" looks real enough to make the entire set up very pleasing. The log set is not very realistic looking; from the other reviews I was hoping for something a bit more detailed. Also, the log "crackling" effect is a bit weak. While I wouldn't say that the flames are realistic, they certainly are pretty and create a nice glow in the room. The heater is strong enough to take the chill out of a medium size room. Overall, if you're willing to accept the product for what it is (a fake fireplace), it is a very beautiful fake fireplace to own and I enjoy it very much. *On a final note, the scale of this fireplace is probably too small for a living room or master bedroom, but I would say it is just perfect for a guest bedroom or a den.

I bought this strictly for aesthetic purposes. I'm building a personal library/sitting room and thought this would make a nice focal point. I'm happy to say that it absolutely does! It looks better in person than online which was a huge relief for me. While I thought the price was a little on the high side, once we got it together (my husband didn't need my help at all), you could see that it was worth it. On this model, you can set the temp and the blower isn't that loud at all. Whomever reviews this and says the blower is loud and annoying has a faulty model...you can hear it but it's no louder than a decent portable heater. However, maybe I didn't have it on long enough, but I don't think this is going to be a heat source for us, unless we are sitting directly in front of it. But that's not an issue because, as I said earlier are only using it for looks.And it looks AWESOME.I wouldn't say the flame is realistic, however if you just have the embers glowing, THOSE are pretty realistic. But come on now, let's be honest...this is an electric fireplace. You aren't really expecting it to be totally real are you?Worth the price[...]I say if this is what you're looking for, BUY IT. Don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed.

The Martha's Vineyard fireplace provides both visual warmth and supplemental heat to our extra large family room. I expect it to pay for itself in propane savings within the first year. We have central heat, so in order to heat our family room, we had to turn the heat on to the whole house. Now, we can enjoy our beautiful and charming fireplace, while heating the one room that we use without the unnecessary expense of heating the rest of the house. The only drawback is that the fan is a little louder than we expected. It's not horrible, but it's not silent either. While the flame looks real enough, the logs are not quite so realist. I would have given the fireplace 5 stars if it had not been for the fan noise and the artificial look of the logs. Overall though, it's a richly beautiful fireplace that adds a touch of elegance, charm and heat to the room where we spend most of our time.
