We installed this fireplace in our downstairs family room. It looks great, very modern, and it keeps our large family room, and an adjacent office, a cozy and comfortable temperature. We put this in an existing old wood fireplace and were easily able to reface the old red brick with our own stone, hearth, and mantel. The flame looks very realistic, in fact everyone asks us where we got our gas fireplace! It's also nice to just use the flame with no heat. There's really nothing that I don't like about this fireplace!

I built this unit into a new fireplace, comes ready to go out of the box with a simple design. Dimplex has the most realistic electric flame, and the glass stones just add to this great center piece. Very quiet. Just wish it kicked out a little more heat, or had a low/high heat setting. . . but still warms the room! Great item

I designed and had a cabinet maker make a large wall unit that holds my 55" Flat screen TV, book shelves and under the TV, I had the Electric Fireplace installed. Nice looking Fireplace, The only two weaknesses are 1. The antenna for the remote is irresponsive when the unit is placed behind thick marble and concrete but works well behind dry-wall, stucco, wood, and thin tile. 2. The front glass seems to break easily.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was fast but front glass panel arrived broken from shipping. Customer Service was excellent and they sent a replacement unit immediately.
I would buy from them again.

This fireplace is beautiful by night but hard to see flames by day. It is great for knocking off the chill in a small room. Very quiet and very warm.I bought this one for our master bathroom. It is perfect for flames adding ambience to the room for a cozy evening. However,I wish,since it is thermostat controlled, that the heat would come on without flames. We perfer a dark room for sleeping and the flames light up the room at night waking me up. It is beautiful and great to get up to a comfortable heat! I Love it!
