This product is just wonderful! We searched many stores and online websites for a fireplace that not only looked nice and was affordable, but would also be a fireplace that was SAFE for children. This is THE only one we saw that met that and with the cool-to-touch glass, our special needs son can touch it all he wants! The heat comes out evenly and is very quiet. Everyone who walks through our door raves over how nice it looks. The height is also perfect! It's not short like most fireplaces are and the color matches other furniture of the same type perfectly! I couldn't give this a higher rating and I'm a very picky buyer due to our special needs child. I researched this emensely and it has met every expectation I have. I have the fire on even in the summer. i love looking at it and it gives such a homey feeling to the room. it's perfect for florida where we don't really need much heat or real fireplaces. it's great to look at, it does give off heat - not much for a large room. But one of my favorite house purchases for sure! easy to assemble, great price. i am considering another one for the master bedroom.
Service and delivery comments:
the delivery was pretty prompt, but we wanted it for last year's superbowl so we had to go pick it up when it arrived in Tampa b/c we didn't want to wait the couple of days until it got put on a truck to be delivered. It was semi difficult to get someone on the phone to deal with the delivery, but once we did, everyone was nice and helpful.

Remote control is nice. Perfect for zone heating. Heater is quiet and fan is not obnoxious. Assembly was easy and quality of mantel is pretty good. Flame however is not realistic but I expected it would not be. My wife wanted mantel but if it were my choice I would have selected the wood stove design.

One of the screw holes was stripped out which eliminated our ability to put that screw in. Hopefully, we won't need that... Color is lighter than what is shown in the picture yet it is still pretty. Once we got the remote working, it was amazing to see the flame come on instantly at the touch of a button.

Delivery prompt. Product was packaged so well that there wasn't even a scratch on it. Installation was amazingly simple.

We bought this fireplace for both ambiance and added heat. It's absolutely beautiful and worth every penny of it's price. We are so glad we spent a little more to get something that actually looks like a real fireplace. We have it in our living room which has a vaulted ceiling so it doesn't heat up the room as much as we thought it would, but it's beauty makes up for it. Also, we have noticed a slight ticking sound when it is running lately that wasn't there at first, but we have been running it a lot lately. Hoping it doesn't continue because aside from that it is virtually silent. Overall we are happy with it.

We loved the easy set up - it takes longer to unpack than to assemble, which is great. The flame is so realistic and we were pleased by the amount of heat. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the colour (stain) of the unit. It appears much darker online which is what I wanted but is really not dark at all, however, it adds ambiance and warmth to our family room so we will work around the colour.
