Assembly best done by two people. Make sure to put wooden guide pegs in side wall/base plate holes before screwing side walls to base plate (directions do not point this out). Soap aligment fins in center piece to avoid breaking off during assembly. Use longer wing screws for wall and shorter ones with washers for fire wall attachment (Package containing screws mis-marked).Much easier to use short screw driver to attach glass doors so as not to have tip fire box. Be sure to align top door pegs in proper tracks before tightening bottom mounting screws. Good idea to place mantel in approximate final position prior to adding firebox. Leave enough space to reach around to secure 6 firebox screws. Can easily side final assembled unit on carpet with a cardboard skid.

Beautiful fireplace with realistic flame. The wood was a little darker than the picture on the web site. Assembly of the fireplace itself was basically easy. Only five pieces to assemble including the firebox. My problem with the assembly came at the final step, attaching the bi-fold glass door. The instructions don't make any sense and I still have not figured out how to attach the door properly.

We put this product in our bedroom. It could give off a bit more heat, but for the most part it is beautiful and adds warmth to the room. We are having a bit of trouble with the remote however (a feature we love). Overall a very nice product, good quality, easy to assemble.

The heater didn't work when i set it up. call customer service and they sent a part had to wait for a repair person. finally got it fixed and the heater started making alot of noise and the remote broke! they sent more parts and waiting for the repair guy again.Icall fireplace direct and they said it was up to dimplex to fix.Iwish i could return it!

This fireplace is absolutely Beautiful and the flame is better than any I've seen. However, the flame box has shut itself off quite a few times. I change the frequency on the remote and its ok for a while, then does it again

Blower motor worked for two weeks then stopped working. Contacted Dimplex and they sent new part but could not find anyone in our area to repair unit. We had part replaced on our own by a certified electrian; however, new motor does not work either. Very dissappointed in product. Evidently Dimplex is having issues with the motors. Would not recommend
