We have this set up in our bedroom which had no heat. I always wanted a fireplace so when my friend told me about it I was curious and skeptical. When we received it all we had to do was take it out of the box and plug it in. It works really well, it is not noisy, the flames are so realistic and it is easy to move if needed and romantic too. My Dimplex Electric Stove Fireplace was delivered ready to use out of the packaging. It is such a lovely electric fireplace that I would purchase it over and over again. The great thing about the Dimplex is that you can use it to heat a room or area or you can just use it to set a room ambiance without heat. Either way it is so engaging to look at. The flames seem so real and the wood chunks so red and hot. There is nothing to dislike about the Dimplex Cube Fireplace Stove. I live in a Condo and real fireplace in my living room doesn't look as lovely or heat nearly as fast as the Dimplex Cube. I highly recommend it! This is a purchase to invest in and you won't regret the purchase. It is a real value.

I love this little fireplace. I needed something very small to fit in the corner of my bedroom. This is perfect. After a few minutes my room is heated up and takes the chill off! The flame is realistic from a distance, not so much up close. However, the coals in the fire look real. It is also quiet. It does not have a traditional mantle, but I like a contemporary look so it suited me just fine! The price was good too!

This would be it! Love the look of this stove and it puts out just enough heat to take the edge off in a sunroom with lots of windows. Suspect, however, it would not be enough for days when temps fall below zero, but it seems to be great for those milder cold days (this room already gets a bit of heat from my furnace). Might not be the most practical of options, but it sure looks great. Glad I found this- was struggling with the "fake factor" of an electric fireplace. Decided to embrace the "kitchy-ness" of it with this one and am very glad I did. It completely fits my modern decorating aesthetic.

I live in a small bungalow. I tore down two preexisting walls to make the kitchen, dining and living room areas one large space (approximately 650 sqft). However, when the walls went so did two large heat registers. I only added two toe kick registers in the kitchen. So this little fireplace was the perfect addition for this space. In Denver we have already had some early snow storms and below freezing days and it worked fine. Yet to find out how it works on a subzero day. If it works great on those days then I will give it the full five stars.
