Because the stone mantel is lightweight, preparation and installation are much easier and much less costly than traditional solid stone mantels. Special wall and floor reinforcement is not necessary for the of this stone mantel. The Barstow Cast Stone Mantel includes a riser panel and an optional hearth available in two sizes: (12" or 20" D x 68" L x 1.25" H). |

Optional Facing Panel/Hearth Kit Description
The Surround Filler Panels for this stone mantel are designed to adjust to your firebox opening. See the red text above for details about the minimum and maximum firebox opening sizes allowed. These panels slide inside the mantel legs. In some cases the maximum dimensions may be increased by cutting the material on site using a fine tooth saw. The hearth is designed to fit underneath the legs of the mantel.
Height Adjustment
Simply trim for height at the bottom of the left and right mantel legs. Any standard finish hand or power saw with fine teeth can be used for cutting the mantel legs.
