Cast Stone Fireplace Mantel Surrounds
Milestone is a highly refined architectural pre-cast, lightweight concrete ornamental stone, which rivals the beauty of natural stone while improving upon many of the shortcomings of natural stone. Milestone is made from white Portland cement, natural sands, and mineral coloring pigments to achieve the desired color and appearance while maintaining durable physical properties, which exceed some natural, cut building stones. Milestone is an excellent replacement for natural cut limestone, brownstone, coral stone, sandstone, bluestone, granite, slate, travertine and other natural stones. Each of these stone fireplace mantels weighs much less than traditional stone mantel materials and require less structural reinforcement. Freight and Crating charges are not included in the pricing of our Cast Stone Fireplace Mantels.
Filler panels are available for facing material, raised hearths, overmantels and additional width. Please contact us for more information. Note that some Milestone moldings and panels require on-site cutting, similar to most masonry or cast stone projects, and a cut sheet is provided with your purchase.
