| STEP 1 - Determining the Mid Line: The mid line of the fireplace is the same as the mid line of the Firebox; all facing panels and components of the mantel are aligned according to the mid line. (see Fig. 1) |
| STEP 2 - Installation of Hearth: Use Thinset for uneven floors or construction adhesive if your surface is level. |
| STEP 3 - Installation of Facing Panels: Apply using approved construction adhesive. |
| STEP 4 - Installation of Legs: Measuring from the mid line, place the legs exactly 23.25" (Leg Width) from the inside of the legs; drill holes through the leg brackets and install suitable screws to fix the legs in position. Screws are not provided as different screws are required for different installation conditions, consult local rules and professionals for the suitable type of screw required. (see Fig. 2) |
| STEP 5 - Installation of Holding Brackets: Draw a line exactly 7.5" (Holding Bracket Height) above the top of the legs; place the Holding Brackets provided with their holes exactly on the line, drill a hole and install the brackets with suitable screws. The sides of the Holding Brackets should be 18" (Holding Bracket width) measuring from the mid line. (see Fig. 3) |
| STEP 6 - Installation of Mantel Top: Place the mantel top over the legs with the angle bar fitting into the holding brackets. (see Fig. 4) |
