The Fitzgerald stone fireplace mantel surround is cast with
durable Hydrocal gypsum cement. The hard white finish of this
stone mantel may be painted or faux finished. Because this stone
mantel is lightweight, preparation and installation are much
easier and much less costly than traditional solid stone mantels.
This mantel design is traditional and highly detailed. The custom
version of this stone mantel allows for adjustment to the height
of the mantel as well as increased return depths that will allow
for most facing materials including granite, marble and ceramic
tile. We have a complete selection of that will coordinate with this fireplace mantel.
Special wall and floor reinforcement is not necessary for the of this stone mantel.
Opening Dimensions for this stone mantel surround are:
48" Wide x up to 44" Height (see diagram below) This mantel is
available in custom sizes which allow for adjustments to Inside
Height (B) as well as Return Depth (G) (see below).
