Our house has a fireplace that I could never use, and I hated not using it! The chimney had been completely sealed off by a previous owner, and the repairs sounded risky. I looked into electric, but didn't want an electric cord coming out of the fireplace to the wall outlet, and didn't want to install a new outlet into the brick. I put it together by myself within an hour (I'm not great at assembling stuff!), and I had a real fire in my fireplace that first night. I love it!! The logs look great, and it provides such pretty flames with the most wonderful cozy soft crackling sound. It'll be so nice at Christmas! Safe and easy to use, no mess, no smoke, no odor. I couldn't be happier!

Love it! I hate the mess of real fire wood and this has worked out well for me...great ambiance! Just remember to buy the main ingredient when ordering...the gel! Had to run to local hardware store!
