Hearths are available as options for both the Standard and custom models. Flat 3/4" Square Edge Hearths are available in 3 pieces for Standard Models. Flat Square and Rounded Edge 3/4" Hearths are available with custom models. Raised hearths are available in heights up to 12" for custom mantels. These hearths have a rounded edge and are constructed in a single piece.

Overmantels

An extensive collection overmantels are available for our Classic Stone Mantels. Each overmantel is offered "by the foot" – simply let us know the height that you require.

Preparation and Installation

Classic Stone Mantel material is lightweight, ensuring that preparation for and installation are much easier and less costly than traditional solid stone mantels. Special wall and floor reinforcement is not necessary. In most case installation of mantel components (facing panel [1 or 3 pieces], 2 legs, 1 shelf) can be done with construction adhesive.

Fire Resistance and Clearance

These mantels are fire resistant and allow for zero clearance from combustible material (no space required between firebox and this mantel material or surround facing), making these ideal for any mantel installation including wood and gas fireplaces.
