Measuring For Custom Sizes and Unique Shapes

There are situations where a standard size fireplace shelf just won't work. For most mantel shelves, you may order the following options:

Custom Fireplace Shelf Length or Depth

To order a shelf with a Length (D), Lookout Width (LW), Depth F or Lookout Depth (LD), choose Size Length & Depth on shelf style page.

For changes to shelf Height (H), please call 888.493.8898.

More information on pricing and customization of length, height, and depth is located on each shelf's respective page. If you would like more information or need help customizing a shelf please fill out the following form.

Brick/Stone Overlap (Brick Pocket)

This fireplace brick sticks out from the wall. A brick pocket shelf would recess the brick in the shelf allowing the shelf to sit flush with the brick. The shelf lip will cover approximately 1/2" of the existing brick.

To order a brick pocket shelf, submit the following form.

L Shape

Available for Stanford, Madison, or Bedford Shelves

This fireplace has a mantel shelf that extends around a corner. This is an "L" shape mantel shelf. We canize the length of each side in an "L" shape mantel shelf. We would need your dimensions for 1 and 2 as well as the direction of the "L".

To order an L shape shelf, submit the following form.

U Shape

Available for Stanford, Madison, or Bedford Shelves

This fireplace is a 3-sided peninsula fireplace that requires a "U" shape shelf. Another situation that requires a "U" shape is a fireplace that sticks out from the wall as shown in the image to the bottom left. We canize all dimensions in a "U" shape shelf. We would need your dimensions for 1, 2, and 3.

To order a U shape shelf, submit the following form.

Shelf Cap

Not available for Bedford, Cascade, Hunter, or Manor House Shelves

This is an example of a shelf cap. Instead of a plain shelf expanding the width of the fireplace, a shelf cap sits on top and creates a mantel top. We would need your measurements for 1 - the inside length, and 2 - the inside depth.

To order a shelf cap, submit the following form.
