How Long Do Gas Grills Usually Last?
How long your gas grill lasts depends on many factors such as the model and type, how often you use it, and maintenance. Many gas grills, when well taken care of, can last up to 15 years. Gas grills do need considerable care, cleaning, and protection from the elements.
What’s the Difference Between Gas and Propane Grills?
Gas and propane grills are both excellent options for outdoor cooking. One difference is that propane is generally more portable because it usually comes in small tanks, whereas natural gas is a network you tap into. Another difference is that they burn differently. Propane burns hotter than natural gas. Propane burns at 2500 BTUs and gas at 1000 BTUs. This doesn’t necessarily make one better than the other, it’s just a consideration you must take into account as you cook on either type of grill.
